Dry Cutter Safety
1. Keep all guards in place and in working order.
Damaged guards increase risk of injury.
2. Always clamp the workpiece with vise. Prevent
loss of control of the workpiece.
3. Workpiece must be cut-off against the direction
of the saw only. Prevents workpiece from being
thrown.
4. Be sure cut-off saw is sharp and free from
vibration. Less likely to bind and lose control.
5. Raise the cut-off saw from the kerf of the work-
piece prior to releasing the trigger switch. Less
likely for saw blade to bind.
6. Allow motor to reach full speed before cutting.
Prevents stalling of motor.
7. Use only cut-off saw blade with speed rating at
least as high as the RPM specified on the
nameplate. Improper blade may be hazardous and
result in injury.

8. Don’t place either hand in the working area
when tool is connected to receptacle. Increases
the risk of injury.
9. Never clamp or tie guard in the open position.
Exposed blade increases the risk of injury.
10. Use proper extension cord. When using an
extension cord of 25 ft. or less use a 14 AWG cord,
for cords up to 50 ft. use a 12 AWG cord. Use of
cords over 50 ft. is not recommended. Use of any
other extension cord will result in deterioration of
tool performance.

Specifications
WARNING
